It all started with
Jana...
Milica’s textile design
workshop, Alice O’Wonderland, was established at the end
of the 80s. Children’s wear for all seasons had been manufactured
in limited numbers, mainly consisting of knits, swim-wear and
accessories… These products also made an exclusive part
of the British Mothercare in Belgrade.
Pillows and pillow-cases were custom designed
in small series for IKEA, Cultural centre / Beo-izlog in Belgrade,
as well as a distinguished boutique for home textiles, Linea
3, in Singapore. Others were also individually commissioned.
Pillows were created as original collages in different
fabrics, usually in a patch-work technique.
Knits for kids were done using only 100% cotton
and Shetland wool.
These sets (trousers + pull-over /skirt + jacket /cap + shawl
+ gloves) were enriched with leather details and were lined
with flannel tartan designs. |
